Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 8, 2026
This policy summarizes the main categories of information Yappa handles, how that information is used, and the core choices available to customers and businesses using the product.
What we collect
We may collect account details, business profile information, customer conversation data, booking details, and billing-related information needed to operate Yappa.
How we use information
We use information to provide the service, route calls and texts, support bookings, improve follow-up, process billing, maintain security, and support customers.
Customer conversations
When Yappa is used for calls, texts, and inbox workflows, conversation content and related metadata may be stored so your business can review history, follow up, and manage operations.
Caller and contact information
Individuals who call or text a Yappa-powered business number should be aware that conversation content, call metadata, and any information they share (name, contact details, reason for calling) may be stored by Yappa on behalf of the business. These communications are not protected by attorney-client privilege, doctor-patient privilege, or any other professional privilege, regardless of the type of business using Yappa. If you have questions about how a specific business handles your data, contact that business directly.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Yappa, such as infrastructure, billing, communication, calendar, and support vendors. We do not sell your personal information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect account and business data. No system is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain records, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
You can update business information from your account and can contact us about account access, deletion requests, or privacy questions.
Your rights (California and other states)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you the following rights: (1) Right to know — you can request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you. (2) Right to delete — you can request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions. (3) Right to opt out of sale — we do not sell your personal information to third parties. (4) Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@mostudios.io. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by law. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights under applicable state law.
